This old map of Middletown, Connecticut was created in 1915 by Thaddeus Mortimer Fowler. T.M. Fowler was a prominent artist who spent a majority of his life traveling the country creating hand drawn maps of American towns.
This bird’s eye view of Middletown at the beginning of the 20th century features landmarks such as Wesleyan University, The Russell Manufacturing Company, The Hubbard Motor Company, Dalton’s Cafe, Goodyear Rubber Company, Germania Cafe, Hazen’s Book Store and more.
