This map of Bennington, Vermont was first published in 1887 by Lucien R. Burleigh, an artist and cartographer who spent much of his life traveling the country creating beautiful bird’s eye views of American towns.
The map features old Bennington landmarks such as Putnam’s Novelty Works, Stark Knitting Company, Bennington Graded School, the Bennington & Rutland Railroad Station, the Stark House, and more.
